GNOME Foundation elections

So, the preliminary results for this year’s elections have been announced. Vincent made the official announcements, while I made the announcements on IRC. Now we need to get a mechanism for anonymous voting in place, and also, an (semi)automated membership management system.
In other news, Planet FLOSS India has two new OOo hackers from Bangalore - welcome aboard!! In other FLOSS related news, noticed that Nokia is looking for GNOME developers. GNOME in my mobile ?? Wohooo!!
In Ankur Bangla related news, there was a really big article on Bangla Linux in The Statesman, with two large screenshots of GNOME 2.4.
..and finally, I won’t be around till the 23rd of December, so I won’t be responding to mails sent during this period.
i sent an email to fsf india a few days ago to let me join it and it bounced straight back at me…
