XO Software Release 8.2.0

After many months of hard work, OLPC XO Software Release 8.2.0 has been unleashed. This release includes a much improved Sugar 0.82, a transition to Fedora 9, and many more changes and fixes under the hood to increase reliability and security.

    What is the difference between gg-767-4.img and os767.img? I would prefer choosing which activities to have on the XO, rather than loading all of them, and then removing some of them.

    @Herman: I think the gg-767-4.img is the G1G1 image, while os767.img is the generic image. os767.img will not have any activities in it, and if you are installing via copy-nand, you’ll end up with no activities at all. Then you can pick and choose and install the activities that you like.
